There is a hotel called “Mayak” in Listvyanka. I liked its location, i.e. the very centre of the village. You can go to Lake Baikal on foot, or visit the museum of phoca, or buy some souvenirs. In winter they build an Ice town for merry and active family recreation. There is a convenient conference hall in the hotel. An excellent breakfast is served at the restaurant in the morning!
We liked this hotel so much! We lived in a spacious room with splendid Lake Baikal view. The bathroom had the same Lake Baikal view. Its windows are floor-to-ceiling windows. They bake delicious small loaves of bread at the restaurant (there are several kinds of them – try them all!) I’d also like to give you some more advice: have a Russian banya.;)
It is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful place. There are Lake Baikal rooms. Have dinner on the terrace; go for a walk within the neighbourhood. You will be greatly relaxed at the end of another hard working day. Buryat posi are served at the restaurant by all means.
Not long ago we stayed on the shore of Lake Baikal for two nights. It is a beautiful quiet place. Services of high quality and good meals at the restaurant were at tourists’ disposal. This is the best place for vacation at Lake Baikal! The hotel is very pleasantly located. The rooms (we stayed in a studio) are fashionable. There is a terrace for relaxation. The hotel has a nice Baikal Lake view.
Vacation at Lake Baikal is an adventure of some kind. We registered for several excursions at hotel “Mayak” which we found very nice; we enjoyed them greatly. In general, this is a very good place to stay at and relax for some time. Rooms are qualitative, especially for Russia. The staff is very friendly. The top point is the management’s close attention to guests. Every guest feels important at this hotel. Meals are superb! Food is of high quality!
“Mayak” is a nicely located hotel. There is a wharf opposite to it. It takes three minutes to reach the museum of phoca and the market. When we stayed at the hotel, the facade was being repaired and there was timber everywhere. The rooms are nice, though not very large. There are three restaurant-bars there.
